The first activity of the Primary School started on 01st day of July 1981 in rented building at Lajpat Nagar, Alwar. In 1984 the school promoted to Upper Primary School. With the efforts of Sh. Dayaram Gupta (Then President) the school got allotment of land from Urban Improvement Trust, Alwar for construction of School Building. The construction of School Building was started in 1985 with the funds received from the donors of the Mahawar Society. On 15th of May 1986 the initial 11 rooms of School Building completed and the inaugural ceremony was performed by Sh. Tarachand Ji Bindawala. In 1988 the school got approval for providing education up to secondary education. In process of development in 1991 the Mahawar Gyan Mandir goty approval for education of Senior Higher Secondary School with Science & Arts faculty. By the effort of then President Lala Sheo Dayal Ji Gupta construction of Laboratories & rest building of Ground Floor completed. Later on under Presidentship of Sh. Kishori Lal Ji Gupta construction of First Floor was completed. At that time more than 800 students was studying in the school and some of the students of the school acquired the position in the merit list of Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer. Presently Mahawar Gyan Mandir is operating with the Classes of Standard IX, X, XI & XII (Science, Commerce & Arts) only. The strength of the students is nearly 325 in above classes. |
